The emotions and all the unassigned possessions that remain after a family member’s death can be so overwhelming. Mine also involved a day’s air travel to the home with no other family members in the state. Who do you trust? I had a professional resource at home in Connecticut who educated me on what to look for and what to ask from an estate sale company. When I interviewed Tennessee companies, the only qualified choice was PowerHouse Estate Sales.
When my brother and I met with Brent and Angie, we knew we’d found the right people. What I loved most was they are the people who were in the house handling every detail, through every step of the process while I was back home. When you are in my situation, communication is everything. Brent was always in constant communication. He was a great resource and partner in helping me through the process of all the decisions I had to make.
I was astonished at the amount of work and care they took to turn the house into an inviting shopping experience. Brent and Angie’s carefully scheduled social media promotions meant that they blew the doors off the sale from day one. They got the job done and then some. He even sold the car so I didn’t have to deal with that. I was in Tennessee during the sale days, coming at the end of each day to strategize the next steps, led by his thoughtful expertise.
I walked away with a check and a load of worry taken off my shoulders. I highly recommend PowerHouse as the people and the business to handle your estate sale with the thoughtful integrity you look for when you are challenged by a house full of (often emotional) stuff.

We want to extend our appreciation for the time and efforts you gave to ensure Mom had the best results she could from her treasures. You all acted with professionalism, integrity, kindness, understanding, empathy, friendship, caring, above board, compassionate and reputable company. all employees exhibited these characteristics. Most of the home was liquidated and that burden was lifted from us. You and your company perform a task most people would avoid. However, without people like you (Brent Tuggle and Angie Alexander) who are willing to take on this overwhelming and emotional job for families in a time of need, most of us would crumble under the load. So, THANK YOU, we highly recommend this company, they treat families with respect and tailor to their unique needs. We threw them a couple of curve balls, but they caught them and ran with it. I chose Powerhouse Estate Sales to handle selling the content of my Mother’s estate. Out of respect to our Mother, it was important for our family to have a professionally run estate sale.  Brent and Angie were professional and patient throughout the process.  They were efficient with their staging and knew exactly how to maximize the limited space in the small home. All areas, inside and outside the house, were staged professionally. I received comments such as “the sales team is doing a good job”, from friends that attended the sale. Brent had a professional report detailing the breakdown of the sales per day, along with the check, within 3 days after the sale.
